The Atkins Camels basketball team (Winston-Salem, NC), was toppled 38-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC)

The Rams now possess a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockingham County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Northeast Guilford will confront a Cougars team coming off a 59-18 non-league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-9.

The Camels (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against High Point Central (High Point, NC). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, High Point Central was toppled by Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 77-33, in a league battle.
