California Condors (Whittier, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), 54-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, California upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Condors travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to play the Chiefs in a bout on Friday, January 13. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Cardinals play the La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Whittier will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
