Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Los Altos Eagles (Los Altos, CA) and the visiting Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), saw Los Altos's basketball squad hold off Cupertino by a tally of 60-54.

With the victory, Los Altos improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA) to play the Titans in a challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Gunn won 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Cupertino will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 80-53 non-league win over Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA).
