Washington High School Basketball - Mead holds off Mt. Spokane
January 6, 2023: Spokane, WA 99218 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) and the visiting Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA), saw Mead's basketball squad hold off Mt. Spokane by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Mead improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA) to confront the Falcons in a challenge on Friday, January 27. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Mt. Spokane will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Saxons come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 70-56 non-league loss to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA).
