South Dakota High School Basketball - Douglas tops Belle Fourche
January 6, 2024: Box Elder, SD 57719 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) and the visiting Belle Fourche Broncs (Belle Fourche, SD), saw Douglas's basketball squad knock off Belle Fourche by a count of 73-65.
With the victory, Douglas upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD) to play the Tigers in a AA challenge on Friday, January 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Harrisburg won 58-53 in their recent league challenge against Huron (Huron, SD)
Next up, the Broncs play the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Belle Fourche will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Golddiggers come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 60-54 non-league loss to New Underwood (New Underwood, SD).
