The Warriors now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Branch for a Southeastern battle on Friday, January 12. Nansemond River will confront a Bruins team coming off a 81-73 non-league loss to Bruton (Williamsburg, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 8-4.
The Patriots (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Menchville (Newport News, VA). The Monarchs come into the Peninsula battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Menchville beat Phoebus (Hampton, VA), 72-54, in a league battle.
