Georgia High School Basketball - Hawkinsville fells Dooly County
January 6, 2024: Hawkinsville, GA 31036 Hawkinsville Red Devils (Hawkinsville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dooly County Bobcats (Vienna, GA), 74-61 in a league bout.
With the win, Hawkinsville upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Wheeler County (Alamo, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a A D2 Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Wheeler County lost 66-58 in their recent league bout against Treutlen (Soperton, GA)
Next up, the Bobcats clash with the Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 12. Dooly County will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 11-2 record after their 85-55 league win over Central (Talbotton, GA).
