January 6, 2024: Ulysses, KS 67880 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ulysses Tigers (Ulysses, KS) and the visiting Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS), saw Ulysses's basketball squad knock off Holcomb by a tally of 58-41.
With the victory, Ulysses improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cimarron (Cimarron, KS) to play the Bluejays in a Great Western challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Cimarron lost 65-26 in their recent non-league challenge against Goodland (Goodland, KS)
Next up, the Longhorns play the Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Holcomb will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Broncs come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Syracuse (Syracuse, KS).
