In Saturday's non-league outing, the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) basketball squad felled the host Pelham Hornets (Pelham, GA), by a margin of 60-48.

The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their outing against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians go into the A D2 Region 1 outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Seminole County thwarted Miller County (Colquitt, GA), 73-32, in a league outing.
