January 6, 2024: Morristown, NJ 07960 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) and the host Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ), saw Montville's basketball squad wallop Morristown-Beard by a count of 66-42.
With the victory, Montville upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Hanover Park won 75-69 in their recent non-league challenge against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ)
Next up, the Crimson play the Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Morristown-Beard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Redhawks go into the test with a 3-4 record after their 76-64 league loss to Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ).
