Georgia High School Basketball - Rabun County knocked off by Stephens County
January 6, 2024: Tiger, GA 30576 The Stephens County Indians basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Rabun County Wildcats to 55 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a AAA Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Stephens County will battle a Lions team coming off a 68-65 non-league win over Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Lions record now stands at 8-6.
The Wildcats (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Tigers enter the A D1 Region 8 contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Commerce ran past Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
