Louisiana High School Basketball - Riverside Academy can't hold off St. James
January 6, 2024: St. James, LA 70090 The St. James Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Riverside Academy Rebels to 40 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berwick for a 3A District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 9.
The Rebels (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 14-5 record. In their last contest, Pope John Paul II nudged Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA), 56-36, in a non-league contest.
