January 6, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70506 Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA), 45-19 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Acadiana upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Rams host Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 1-14.
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Terrebonne Tigers (Houma, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. A.J. Ellender will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 53-21 league loss to Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA).
