Louisiana High School Basketball - A.J. Ellender ripped by Westgate
November 17, 2023: New Iberia, LA 70560 The Westgate Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots to 17 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Abbeville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Westgate will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 64-49 non-league win over Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
The Patriots (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, E.D. White triumphed over Terrebonne (Houma, LA), 54-39, in a non-league contest.
