California High School Basketball - Helix knocked off by Bishop's

January 6, 2024: La Mesa, CA 91941

The Bishop's Knights basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Helix Highlanders to 47 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Francis Parker for a Freelance contest on Wednesday, January 10. Bishop's will battle a Lancers team coming off a 55-39 non-league loss to Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-6.

The Highlanders (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros enter the Grossmont - Hills contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, El Capitan ran past West Hills (Santee, CA), 57-33, in a non-league contest.
