January 6, 2024: Perry, GA 31069 The First Presbyterian Day Vikings ran past the host Westfield School Hornets basketball team by a final score of 51-41 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 6 game, on Tuesday, January 9. First Presbyterian Day will attempt to move on its 14-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-7 record after their 57-21 non-league loss to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL).
With the defeat, Westfield School moves to 10-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Heritage (Newnan, GA) to face the Hawks in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 game on Friday, January 12. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 10-0.
