South Dakota High School Basketball - White River overwhelms Lower Brule
January 6, 2024: Lower Brule, SD 57548 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the White River Tigers (White River, SD) and the host Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), saw White River's basketball squad wallop Lower Brule by a tally of 75-51.
With the victory, White River improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. St. Francis Indian lost 58-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Mandaree (Mandaree, ND)
Next up, the Sioux confront the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders (Miller, SD) in a B Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Lower Brule will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 54-32 non-league win over McIntosh (McIntosh, SD).
