Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mater Dei Knights (Breese, IL) and the host Quincy Notre Dame Raiders (Quincy, IL), saw Mater Dei's basketball squad hold off Quincy Notre Dame by a tally of 37-35.

With the victory, Mater Dei improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Granite City (Granite City, IL) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-15. Granite City lost 68-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, IL)

Next up, the Raiders confront the Pittsfield-Griggsville-Perry Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8.
