North Union Wildcats (Richwood, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH), 54-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Union upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH) to play the Silver Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 10. The Silver Knights come into the bout with a record of 8-4.

Next up, the Warriors play the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions (Springfield, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Northwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
