Valley Christian Lions (Roseville, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA), 61-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Valley Christian upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Lions host Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA) to play the Cavaliers in a Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League bout on Thursday, January 11. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 0-5.

Next up, the Capitals play the Rio Americano Raiders (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Sacramento Adventist will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
