The Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), 33-21 in Saturday's league test.

The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their test against McQueen (Reno, NV). The Lancers go into the test with a 0-9 record.

The Tigers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Damonte Ranch for a non-league test on Monday, January 8.
