New Mexico High School Basketball - Carlsbad tops Loving
January 6, 2024: Carlsbad, NM 88221 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) and the visiting Loving Falcons (Loving, NM), saw Carlsbad's basketball squad knock off Loving by a count of 42-26.
With the victory, Carlsbad upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Cavemen travel to Artesia (Artesia, NM) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Falcons play the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 8. Loving will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 43-16 non-league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
