California High School Soccer - Branson nudges Redwood

Branson Bulls (Ross, CA) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulls confront the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons (San Anselmo, CA) in a Marin County challenge, on Monday, January 8. Branson will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Peregrine Falcons enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).

The Giants now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Rafael for a Marin County challenge on Monday, January 8. Redwood will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Piner (Santa Rosa, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-2.
