The Churchill County Greenwave topped the visiting Spring Creek Spartans basketball team by a final score of 42-33 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Greenwave face the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a game, on Friday, January 12. Churchill County will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Buckaroos enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 41-38 league win over Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV).

With the defeat, Spring Creek moves to 3-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Dayton (Dayton, NV) to face the Dust Devils in a non-league game on Friday, January 12. The Dust Devils enter the game with a record of 5-2. Dayton lost 47-39 in their recent non-league game against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
