Virginia High School Basketball - Gate City tops Tennessee
January 6, 2024: Gate City, VA 24251 Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Tennessee Vikings (Bristol, TN), 58-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gate City upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolfpack come into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Vikings play the Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Tennessee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
