January 6, 2025: New Brunswick, NJ 08901 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ) and the host New Brunswick Zebra (New Brunswick, NJ), observed Hamilton's basketball team knock off New Brunswick by a score of 46-33.
The Hornets (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ). The Stateliners come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Phillipsburg prevailed over Union (Union, NJ), 54-45, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Zebra encounter the Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - White challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. New Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 45-33 non-league win over Carteret (Carteret, NJ).
