North Carolina High School Basketball - Neuse Charter holds off Star Christian Academy
January 6, 2025: Smithfield, NC 27577 In Monday's non-league contest, the host Neuse Charter Cougars basketball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Star Christian Academy Golden Tigers.
The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC). The Aviators go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Ascend Leadership was tipped by Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC), 83-14, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Tigers confront the DASH United (Zebulon, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Star Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record.
