January 6, 2025: Powers, MI 49874 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the North Dickinson Nordics (Felch, MI) and the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI), observed North Dickinson's basketball team overwhelm North Central by a score of 56-27.
The Nordics (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI). The Cougars come into the Central Upper Peninsula challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Superior Central trounced Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI), 41-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jets encounter the Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI) in a Skyline challenge, on Monday, January 13. North Central will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
