Michigan High School Basketball - Paw Paw thwarts Sturgis
January 6, 2025: Paw Paw, MI 49079 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Paw Paw Red Wolves (Paw Paw, MI) and the visiting Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), observed Paw Paw's basketball team knock off Sturgis by a score of 51-42.
The Red Wolves (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI). The Wildcats come into the Wolverine B challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Three Rivers dropped by Gull Lake (Richland, MI), 44-41, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Vicksburg Bulldogs (Vicksburg, MI) in a Wolverine B challenge, on Friday, January 10. Sturgis will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 67-65 non-league loss to Portage Northern (Portage, MI).
