In Monday's non-league test, the Bradley Central Bears (Cleveland, TN) basketball squad trounced the visiting McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN), by a final score of 97-19.

Next, the Bears clash with the Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN) in a 4A District 6 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Bradley Central will attempt to upgrade on its 16-0 season record.

The Cherokees (5-11) will now prepare for their test against Rhea County (Evensville, TN). The Golden Eagles come into the 4A District 5 test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Rhea County bounced Meigs County (Decatur, TN), 43-36, in a non-league test.
