The Millry Wildcats basketball squad (Millry, AL), was crushed 39-11 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL)

With the victory, Southern Choctaw advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Leroy (Leroy, AL) to meet the Bears in a 1A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Bears enter the battle with a record of 3-4. Leroy lost 50-25 in their recent non-league battle against Mobile Christian (Mobile, AL)

The Wildcats now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McIntosh for a 1A Area 1 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Millry will meet a Demons squad coming off a 57-29 non-league loss to Jackson (Jackson, AL). The Demons record now stands at 10-5.
