In Monday's league battle, the visiting Prairie Central Hawks basketball squad scored a tight 42-37 victory over the St. Thomas More Sabers.

With the victory, Prairie Central advances its record to 5-11 on the year. The Hawks travel to Urbana (Urbana, IL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7.
