With the victory, Watseka/Milford advances its record to 23-3 on the year. The Warriors host Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL) to meet the Cornjerkers in a Vermilion Valley battle on Thursday, February 6. The Cornjerkers enter the battle with a record of 16-9. Hoopeston won 48-41 in their recent league battle against Armstrong (Armstrong, IL)
The Sabers now own a 4-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a Illini Prairie battle on Thursday, February 6. St. Thomas More will meet a Sages squad coming off a 50-22 non-league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Sages record now stands at 16-10.
