Illinois High School Basketball - Watseka nips Tolono Unity
December 14, 2024: Watseka, IL 60970 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Watseka Warriors basketball team scored a close 52-46 triumph over the Tolono Unity Rockets.
The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets go into the Vermilion Valley contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Oakwood was tipped by Armstrong (Armstrong, IL), 45-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Tolono Unity will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 60-54 league loss to Effingham (Effingham, IL).
