North Carolina High School Basketball - West Carteret holds off Jacksonville
January 6, 2025: Morehead City, NC 28557 In Monday's non-league contest, the host West Carteret Patriots basketball team scored a close 41-38 triumph over the Jacksonville Cardinals.
The Patriots (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC). The Rampants go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, J.H. Rose nipped D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 59-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Jacksonville will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 44-35 non-league loss to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC).
