In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors basketball team scored a big 58-21 triumph over the Beaver Falls Tigers.

The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips go into the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Aliquippa smashed New Brighton (New Brighton, PA), 69-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 outing, on Friday, January 9. Beaver Falls will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record.
