The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Comstock Panthers (Comstock, TX) and the visiting Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX), observed Comstock's basketball team overwhelm Utopia by a score of 74-40.

The Panthers (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Knippa (Knippa, TX). The Crushers come into the 1A Region IV District 31 challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Knippa trounced Leakey (Leakey, TX), 66-37, in a league battle.

The Buffaloes now own a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Medina for a 1A Region IV District 31 battle on Friday, January 9. Utopia will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 59-35 league loss to D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-6.
