Georgia High School Basketball - Dawson County succumbs to Cherokee Bluff
January 7, 2022: Flowery Branch, GA 30542 The Cherokee Bluff Bears topped the visiting Dawson County Tigers basketball team by a final score of 74-63 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Bears face the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a AAA Region 7 game, on Tuesday, January 11. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Bobcats enter the game with a 12-4 record after their 54-48 non-league win over Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA).
With the defeat, Dawson County moves to 3-14 on the year. The Tigers travel to West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to face the Spartans in a AAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, January 11.
