Texas High School Basketball - Clemens overwhelms Smithson Valley
January 7, 2022: Spring Branch, TX 78070 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) and the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), saw Clemens's basketball squad wallop Smithson Valley by a tally of 69-44.
With the victory, Clemens improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Steele (Cibolo, TX) to play the Knights in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Steele lost 52-39 in their recent league challenge against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX)
Next up, the Rangers play the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Smithson Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 82-47 league loss to Judson (Converse, TX).
