The Valley View Eagles basketball team (Moreno Valley, CA), dropped 61-47 in Friday's league battle with the host Poly Bears (Riverside, CA)

The Bears now possess a 17-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange Vista for a Ivy battle on Wednesday, January 12. Poly will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 59-56 non-league loss to Grand Terrace (Grand Terrace, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-7.

The Eagles (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA). The Mustangs come into the Ivy battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Rancho Verde beat George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA), 61-30, in a non-league battle.
