The Tulia Hornets (Tulia, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX), 70-36 in Friday's league test.

The Hornets (16-5) will now prepare for their test against Abernathy (Abernathy, TX). The Antelopes go into the 3A Region I District 2 test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Abernathy walloped Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX), 64-29, in a league test.
