The Starkville Yellowjackets basketball team (Starkville, MS), was nudged 100-93 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS)

The Golden Wave now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest Hill for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 8.
