Louisiana High School Basketball - Albany fells Holden
January 7, 2022: Albany, LA 70711 Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Holden Rockets (Holden, LA), 59-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Albany upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Hornets host Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Monday, January 10. The go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Lakeshore lost 56-43 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA)
Next up, the Rockets clash with the Benjamin Franklin Falcons (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Holden will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 43-35 non-league win over Northwest (Opelousas, LA).
