Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA) and the visiting Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA), saw Redan's basketball squad hold off Cedar Grove by a tally of 49-47.

With the victory, Redan improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Raiders host Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 8. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Stone Mountain lost 40-31 in their recent league challenge against St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA)
