The Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) basketball felled the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 52-36 in Friday's league test.

The Buffaloes (17-8) will now prepare for their test against Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Knights go into the 6A Region IV District 27 test with a 15-10 record. In their last test, Steele thwarted New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 56-42, in a league test.

The Rangers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host South San Antonio for a 6A Region IV District 27 test on Tuesday, January 11. Smithson Valley will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 70-52 league loss to Judson (Converse, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 15-10.
