New Mexico High School Basketball - Texico tipped by Fort Sumner/House
January 7, 2022: Texico, NM 88135 The Fort Sumner/House basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Texico Wolverines to 42 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Logan for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Fort Sumner/House will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 33-25 non-league win over Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-3.
The Wolverines (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Melrose (Melrose, NM). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Melrose was nudged by Logan (Logan, NM), 33-25, in a non-league contest.
