The Rider Raiders tipped the host Granbury Pirates basketball team by a final score of 54-50 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 game, on Tuesday, January 11. Rider will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 18-6 record after their 57-8 league win over Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX).
