Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Troy Colts (Troy, MI), 42-36 in a league bout.

With the victory, Groves upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI) to play the Ravens in a Oakland - Red bout on Tuesday, January 11.
