Middlesex Bluejays (Middlesex, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South River Rams (South River, NJ), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Middlesex upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign.

Next up, the Rams play the Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ) in a Greater Middlesex - Blue bout, on Wednesday, January 12. South River will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Destroyers come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 46-20 league loss to Spotswood (Spotswood, NJ).
