Texas High School Basketball - Trinity Lutheran nips Atonement Academy
January 7, 2023: San Angelo, TX Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Trinity Lutheran (San Angelo, TX) and the visiting Atonement Academy Crusaders (San Antonio, TX), saw Trinity Lutheran's basketball squad hold off Atonement Academy by a count of 54-51.
With the victory, Trinity Lutheran upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The travel to Atonement Academy (San Antonio, TX) to play the Crusaders in a TAPPS 1A District 6 challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-8.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Hill Country Christian Rams (San Marcos, TX) in a TAPPS 1A District 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Atonement Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 68-47 non-league loss to New Braunfels Thunder (New Braunfels, TX).
